Niron Staal presented at the Offshore Energy Exhibition
With 19 partners and 43 co-exhibitors, Niron Staal was present at the AYOP-pavilion at the Offshore Energy Exhibition which was held in the Amsterdam RAI.
During this event, Niron Staal showed three unique projects on the screen:
- The fabrication of the active heave compensated access system Zbridge
(Zbridge is a motion compensated landing bridge for goods and personnel, and can also be used as a crane for loads up to 5 ton)
- The first unique floating tidal platform BlueTec
(The first BlueTEC Modular has been installed and grid connected this summer 2015 and is producing tidal electricity every day, at Texel. Therefore the platform is a commercial reality: it is sold as it is at Texel and this demonstration platform can be visited by potential customers)
- The leg extension of Jack-up barges with high strength structural steel S690
(Presenting the project 'Leg Extension' for the jack-up barge GMS Endurance. Niron Staal constructed the extension of the 4 legs of this self-propelled and self-elevating jack-up barge during the 2-month maintenance period. The jack-up barge has received some major changes and upgrades before embarking on a 2-year well maintenance project in the UK Southern North Sea)
We look forward to welcome you at the next Offshore Energy!
