Niron Staal Amsterdam receives NEN-EN 1090 EXC4 Certification

From mid2014, all structural components with load bearing properties, which are included in the calculation as main load-bearing, under the EN 1090 standard, have to be provided with a CE mark.

The standard has implications for manufacturers of steel and aluminum structural components for construction. Mandatory harmonized standard eliminates separate rules and regulations in each country for manufacturing and trading of steel and aluminum structures.

Lloyd's Register is a company which decreases the certification for businesses. Hence they have visited Niron Staal. This requires a lot of preparation preceded. This is done by our planner Carlos Woudsma. Thanks to him and Ron van der Ploeg, everything went smoothly and Niron Staal received the highest Certification; NEN-EN 1090 EXC4.
