Repair of rudder and rudderstock for the ‘Anglia Seaways’
The Ro-Ro ferry MS ‘Anglia Seaways’ docked at Van Brink Rotterdam for maintenance and rudder and rudderstock repairs. As this kind of work was executed successful at Niron Staal previous year for another ship, Peter Dekker Project Manager at Van Brink decided to contact Niron. “Because of the complex machining of both the rudder and rudderstock, we trust our colleagues will do their utmost best to repair these components within the requested delivery time”, according to Peter.
The activities which are executed by Niron Staal:
- Machining of rudder and rudderstock;
- Machining of new RVS bushes;
- Assembly of RVS bushes, rudder & rudderstock.
The ‘Anglia Seaways’ is a roll on-roll off freight ferry with a length of 142.5 meters.
